| The Southern California LSU Alumni chapter has an endowed
scholarship that is awarded to a qualified LSU student from the Southern
California area. The scholarship is funded from a portion of our membership
dues and proceeds from fundraisers held at the
crawfish boil and other chapter events.
The chapter initially raised $20,000 to endow the
scholarship and has increased that amount to a total of $40,000.
The award recipient receives a total of $4000 cash ($500
per semester) as well as an on campus job as Chancellor's Aide earning up to
$6200 ($1550 per year). Children of LSU graduates are exempt from paying
half the non resident fee each year.

Eligibility
- Resident of the Southern California Alumni Chapter area
which includes Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura,
and Santa Barbara counties.
- 3.0 High School GPA
- 25 ACT Score
